The aerosol curtain reliably covered the Tor-M2 air defense system

The RCB-protection units of the Baltic Fleet in the Kaliningrad region carried out camouflage of the calculations of anti-aircraft missile systems and eliminated the contamination of air defense systems during attacks of a simulated enemy. At the first stage of the exercise, on an alarm signal, the radiation, chemical and biological protection units promptly moved to the designated area. Arriving at the site, with the help of TDA-3M vehicles, Baltic Fleet specialists carried out measures for aerosol camouflage of the positions of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems.

Further, during a training battle of anti-aircraft gunners, an introductory message was received that the enemy had used chemical weapons. The crews of the air defense complexes carried out a set of measures for conducting hostilities in the conditions of the use of toxic substances. After that, the RCB-protection units using ARS-14KM and DKV machines performed degassing of the conventionally contaminated equipment and positions.

About 100 servicemen and more than 30 units of special and military equipment took part in the exercises, they told the "Military-Industrial Courier" in the information support department of the press service of the Western Military District for the Baltic Fleet.
